I don’t really write journals too much, but for whatever silly reason I feel compelled to tonight. xD

Life has been pretty rough lately. School’s always stressful, health isn’t that great, and I’ve just been...well depressed honestly. I’m drawing a lot more now for whatever reason. I think it’s mainly because I don’t have an art course this year, so I’m not actually forced to draw. Lots of crap though, I’m not impressed with most of it, but you know, it’s all a learning process. I finally moved from opencanvas to photoshop, which has been simply wonderful. Took a lot of time and effort to get to know it, and endless tutorials (thanks to all those great people who take the time to do that, there’s some awesome ones in my favourites), but I’m starting to understand .

Meanwhile, I have a giant folder full of crappy half attempts, and maybe some finished stuff...nothing really worth submitting. Maybe I’ll make a giant scrap page and post it or something, I don’t know if I really want people seeing that kind of junk. I’ve also been obsessed with watercolours lately. I think I’m improving with them too. Nothing amazing or anything, but it’s fun to see you’re kind of getting the hang of it (or at least I hope). I painted myself a quail for my empty dorm, lovebirds for my sister, a humming bird, and a jay for my mother. I think I’m kind of proud of the jay, I’ll have to upload it when I get the finishing touches done, maybe another giant clump of paintings providing my scanner doesn’t take a shit.

History’s starting to drive me nuts...why did I decide to become a history major again...? Oh well, one more month left, then a nice break for me to draw Plus next term I get funner classes. What the hell was I thinking when I went into early Canadian history this term?

Oh, and I bought a subscription That’ll cheer me up for a little bit DA has changed so much since my last one, all these cool little fiddily buttons xD I could spend nights just figuring all this crap out!

Other than that, I just need to curl up in a ball and die right now Dx Fucking liiiiifeeee....
